Tours
KEM offers its assistance to local school districts in the service area in scheduling tours of the Antelope Valley coal-generating plant, the Coteau Freedom coal mine and the Great Plains Synfuels/Dakota Gasification Company plant. All three plants are in the same complex near Beulah.
This field trip encourages STEAM and introduces students to many career opportunities in the energy industry. Students get an up close look at one of the ways electricity is generated in North Dakota. The Tours are offered Tuesday-Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Central Time. Tours can be scheduled by calling Marcy at 1-701-254-4666.
Safety Demonstrations
