
Simply log onto our secure website https://kemelectric.ebill.coop. The first time you use e-bill, you will need to click on the underlined bullet item "Click here to sign up for online account access."
Once your account(s) are registered, you will be able to view your account information and/or pay your account online. The different payment options we except are: cash, check, cashiers check, pay-by-bank, e-check or by credit/debit card. The following is an explanation of electronic payments:
You can have your payment automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account monthly. Complete and return the authorization form and your payment will be made automatically on or around the due date printed on your power bill.
E-check is very similar to our pay-by-bank option. With e-check you can make a one time monthly payment with your checking or savings account. You will need to furnish the bank information, including the routing number or ABA number and account number.
KEM Electric will be accepting VISA, MasterCard and Discover personal credit/debit cards as a form of payment on residential member's electric bill. There is a $1,000 limit you can pay using a credit/debit card, if your bill exceeds this limit, you will want to use the e-check method. Due to the fees associated with processing the credit/debit cards, KEM elected only to accept personal credit/debit cards. Credit/debit card payments can be handled either as a recurring payment or a one-time payment.
Recurring Credit/Debit Card Payment
The ability to have your bill automatically paid each month with your credit/debit card is also available. An authorization form will need to be signed and mailed to the cooperative office before this feature will take effect. One Time Credit/Debit Card Payment
If residential members wish to use their credit card occasionally, you can pay online, or call the Cooperative office with the credit/debit card information. A one time transaction will be processed to pay your electric bill.
